RDAWA .. To ride a horse is to fly without wings..

This was my very favourite part of the horse show at El Caballo Resort last weekend. A vaulting display by the RDAWA (Riding for the Disabled Association), members beginning from young and incredibly cute as above and below. RDA WA is part of a worldwide movement.. HRH Princess Anne being one of its patrons..

Seriously, how gorgeous are they below, scarpering away after their moment in the spotlight, j'adore :)

The RDA, now a registered charity, has been operating and successfully helping people with all types and levels of disability for over 40 years and encourages 'active participation by its members, at all levels, regardless of their disability, at recreational and competitive equestrian events'..

Nothing to do with the horse shows but I couldn't resist a shot of the sweet little rider in pink.. on a pink pony :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe... p.s. big catch up today!

  4. It's nice to have a program like that, everyone benefits. The girl on the pink pony must have been very excited with her matching outfit.
On your comment yesterday- I only live about a 5 minute walk to the coast. I love it.

  8. The horse on the lead line looks undisturbed by the young acrobats. Those cuties looked terrific in your photos. I'm not convinced dying a pony pink is a good idea, cute, but somehow just wrong.

  9. Some of these manuevers require much practice, I assume.

  10. Great work, but, oh, my, my big Niece would seriously die over a pink pony, Grace, LOL.
